How To Get Location Based Reminders Based On Your WiFi

Imagine a situation when you reach your office, and your phone automatically reminds you to submit those reports and complete that project. Or when you enter your home and then your phone tells you to go buy groceries or to pay your bills. Sound Cool, right?

WiMinder, an unreleased Android app from the Google Play store does exactly this by identifying your current location based on the WiFi network you are connected to. So you can get personalized reminders and never forget what to do anymore!

The following are the steps involved in getting these reminders:

Step 1:

Install the Wiminder app from the Unreleased Section of the Play Store. Since the app is currently in its development stages, it’s not released to the general public yet. But this doesn’t mean that you cannot get your hands on this app.

Step 2:

Open the app from your app drawer and click on the Add button at the bottom of the app.

You can now create any kind of reminder you want. Once you type the reminder, you can now select which network to remind you and the state of the network.

This means that you can either receive the reminder notification when you connect to your office network or when you are disconnected from your home network.

You can also set the time intervals between which the reminder should be received.

That’s it. You have successfully created the reminders, and now you just have to wait for them to arrive based on your network!
