How to sync iPhone calls, clipboard, and more with iPad

sync iPhone
If you are someone who owns an Apple iPhone and an iPad, you would have come across the term, ‘Apple Ecosystem’. It is one of the main reasons that make more people buy Apple devices and make them stay in the ecosystem.

In the Apple ecosystem, all your devices work together. For example, you can sync your clipboard and messages across your devices. You can even sync your files, photos, and even your calls.

You need to do a setup process on all your devices before you can sync them together. A tool by Apple called iTunes was the only way to do that before.

But with the help of iCloud, you can now sync all your Apple devices without needing iTunes or a PC. Once you have synced your devices, you can share all your data between them and even sync your messages.

All you need to do is follow the below steps and you would be able to sync all your data between your iPhone and your iPad.

How to sync your iPhone and iPad with messages, calls, clipboard and more

The most important thing you need to keep everything between your iPhone and iPad in sync is the access to an iCloud account on both your devices. You can either use a free account with 5GB of storage or upgrade to a paid account depending on the number of emails, messages, files, and photos you have stored on your devices.

After the initial setup of the iCloud account on both your devices, your devices will stay in constant sync without you needing to do anything else as long as they are connected to the internet. Here are the steps you need to follow for the initial setup of the iCloud account on your iPhone and your iPad.

Step 1:

Open the Settings app on your iPhone and tap on your name at the top of the app.

Step 2:

Now tap on iCloud and enable the data you want to sync to your iPad.

If the 5GB free storage option is not enough for you, you can buy more storage by going to iCloud in the settings app and selecting the ‘change storage plan’ option. From here, you can buy a plan according to your requirements.

Once you have performed all the above-mentioned steps, your iPhone and iPad devices will now be in sync. You can access all your photos, emails, and your files and documents from both your devices as long as they both are connected to the internet, and the sync option is turned on
