How to set custom ringtones on iPhone without iTunes
As I already mentioned, you need an iOS app called ‘Ringtone Maker for iPhone’ to set custom ringtones on your iPhone.
So, go ahead and download and install the app on your iPhone by clicking on the below link.
Now open the app on your iPhone and click on the plus icon at the bottom to proceed.
You can also select from the list of the custom ringtones available on the discover page to set as the ringtone on your iPhone.
Select the ‘Files’ option from the ‘Import from’ page and then choose the song or music you want to use as your custom ringtone.
You can choose from your iPhone local storage or from your iCloud drive, just make sure that you have a copy of the song before you proceed.
Once you have selected the song, you will be taken to the edit page.
From here you can select the part of the song or music you want to set as your ringtone, set the maximum length, and even add fade effects.
Click on the Save button at the top right f your screen and add a name for the file once you have finished editing your ringtone.
Now click on the ‘Mine’ tab at the bottom of the app to view your saved ringtone file. Tap on the file and select the ‘Make’ option, and select the ‘Copy to GarageBand’ option from the pop-up menu.
For the final step, just long-press on the file, and select the share option from the pop-up menu.
Now select, the ringtone option on the next page and select your ringtone file and click on ‘Export’.

Setting custom ringtones on your iPhone
Note: If you want to set the custom ringtone on your iPhone from the Settings app, just open the Settings app on your iPhone and go to the Sounds & Haptics settings page.
From here, just tap on Ringtone and select the file you created to set it as a custom ringtone on your iPhone
If you have any problems in exporting the ringtone to GarageBand or saving the ringtone, try closing the Ringtone maker app and reopening to fix the issue.
If the issue still persists try reinstalling the app and that should fix the issue.
