Whatsapp allows users to delete messages they sent to someone within one hour of sending them. This was intended to allow users to delete messages that they might have sent accidentally or with typos.
However, not everyone was a fan of this feature, especially since Whatsapp also shows everyone in the conversation, be it a private or a group one, that a particular message was deleted by the user.

There are two options given to the user when trying to delete a message in Whatsapp conversation.
The user can either delete the message only on their phone or delete it for everyone thus removing the message from the conversation history of everyone involved.
The delete for everyone option shows everyone involved in the conversation that the message has been deleted and it can only be used within a few minutes of sending the message, after which the option would be unavailable.
So, if you are not a fan of the feature that allows you to delete messages in Whatsapp, here is a simple trick using which you can not only read any deleted messages in Whatsapp but also prevent them from getting deleted in the first place.
How to read Whatsapp deleted messages on Android
Just follow the below steps to be able to read deleted messages on Whatsapp for Android.
Visit this link and then download the APK file for the latest version of GBWhatsapp to your Android phone.
If you don’t have the dual messenger feature on your Android phone, you can only run one instance of Whatsapp on your device.
So, first, make sure you have all your conversations and media on the Whatsapp app currently installed on your Android backed up and uninstall the app.
Once you have uninstalled the official version of the Whatsapp app from your Android phone, install the GBWhatsapp app on your device by opening the APK file you just downloaded.

After the setup process is completed, click on the Settings button on the top right corner of GBWhatsapp, and select the privacy option.

Now select the Enable Anti-Revoke option from the privacy settings menu and the option to revoke deleted messages will now be enabled.
From now on whenever someone tries to delete a message they have sent you, GBWhatsapp will stop the message from getting deleted and will also display a notification alerting you that the user has attempted to delete the message and that it has been revoked.
However, the user on the other side will be shown that the message has been deleted and would be under the impression that they have deleted the message while you can still view that message from the GBWhatsapp app on your Android phone.
